So I have my new PC ready to go and Im going to run a dual monitor setup. I have an RX Vega 64 Airboost GPU in it and i have my two monitors. Im going to use my good monitor for gaming and the second one for multitasking and multimedia. Is it just as simple as plugging my main monitor into my HDMI slot and plugging the other monitor in one of the other HDMI slots on my gpu? Or is it a bit more complex than that. Just looking for some tips.

As simple as that.
Plug them both into the gpu.
The secondary monitor with a relatively static image will not impact your gaming.

Long time ago I tried an experiment attaching a second and third monitor to a second cheap graphics card.
It made no difference in performance at all.

several generations of Nvidia ago having dual screens off one card would force it to 3d clocks all of the time, with the associated heat and noise, it's better now I think. However I think that there may be issues if one screen is at say 120Hz and the other at 60hz, or one is G-sync'd and the other isn't.
