Hello my friends,

Below are the components I selected for my PC Build which are going to cost me USD 1900 in total and it doesn't include GPU yet because I want to buy RTX 3080 and here is availability issues so I will get later. What do you think about my component selection? Do you think it's overpriced? I will be very thankful if you can give me some advice whether I am choosing right component or not before finalizing my purchase.

Amd Ryzen 9 3900X 12 CORES
Asus Rog Strix X570-E Gaming
Corsair Vengeance RGB PRO 32GB 2 x 16 GB 3200 MHZ
Samsung 970 EVO Plus 1TB M.2
Cooler Master V1000
NZXT H510 Elite
NZXT Kraken X63 RGB

Solution
Personally i would not buy the VR headset, it will be useless if you cost-cut your PC too much.
Buy the PC first and then save up for the headset. (The PC is a need item, the VR headset is a want item).

However if you still decide to cost cut,

With RAM i would suggest you run 2x8gb rather than a single 16gb stick as dual channel memory is better performance overall and less likley to cause you system errors,

The SSD 970 evo plus is good but you will soon fill up a 500gb SSD with windows and a few games, and will have to invest in something else.

The power supply you need to get something smaller like a 750w/850w 80 gold plus label (you do not need 1000w PSU)- coolermaster/corsair are decent brands

The PC case is very much personel...
Thanks for you response, I have change my mind a little because now I want to buy HP Reverb G2 VR Headset which is costing me around 720 USD = 53000 INR so I want to cut down some cost in my other components, check below what I have selected now and some of my confusions and looking for your advice.

  • AMD Ryzen™ 5 5600X
  • Inno3d RTX 2070 Super Gaming OC X3 8GB or may be with new launch AMD GPU's.

Now, Have a confusion between these the two mobo below, Can you suggest which one is good to go?
  1. ASUS ROG STRIX X570-E Gaming
  2. ASUS ROG STRIX B550-E Gaming
I know X570 cost little higher but I want to know if is it worth to take over B550 like is there any impactful feature in X570 which can be helpful? What is your thoughts

Also help me with some other components below
    • Good Performance single 16 GB RAM
    • 500 GB SSD Performance SSD M.2
    • Good case which have Type-C port at front
    • Suitable Power Supply and Cooler etc.

Here are the total cost I calculated for my selected components but I need your help to reduce it a little more without compromising in performance, I have already reduced SSD from 1 TB to 500 GB and RAM 32 GB to 16 GB because I can increase both anytime later in future.

The PC case is very much personel preference (you have to look at it all the time) so you would be better to give a few suggestions of the ones you like, and people can help you with the best of out them.
