What is you guys opinion of this board for my setup? I have 64gb of great DDR4 ram which is why i didn't go for the ddr5 version. If not this one, what boards do you guys suggest for the 13900k?

The RAM I have already is - Corsair Dominator Platinum RGB 64gb (2x 32gb) DDR4 3600 (PC4 28800) Model CMT64GX4M2C3600C18
If I should upgrade my ram and get the ddr5 board which ram do you guys suggest for that MSI board but the ddr5 Model?

For your motherboard, it is ridiculously overkill, and you would get the exact same real world performance out of a board for half the price. There is little difference between the 13900K and the 14900K, but if you are willing to buy a 400 dollar motherboard, I would also get Intel's best CPU to go with it. If 14th gen does not fit your budget, or you have an older video card, it would be in your best interest to get a cheaper board and put that money towards a better GPU or CPU. All that being said, if you can afford it, and you already have a top tier graphics card in your system with the 14900K in your parts list, then go for it.

I would go ahead and upgrade to DDR5. It is a little more expensive than aging DDR4, but it has become more affordable than ever and the extra upfront cost to jump to a modern platform will pay for itself in the future. Intel loves fast memory, even if it's at the cost of some latency. Pick up a fast DDR5 kit and aim for a CAS latency of around 34-36.

As for your AIO cooler, I would stick with the tried-and-true Kraken Elite 360 from NZXT, for no other reason than the fact that I personally think it looks sharper than the Lian Li.

For gaming only 14700K, gets you the same P cores and 12 E cores, only 4 less than the 13900k or 14900k. The 200Mhz difference in clock speeds is a simple overclock.

On the memory front, 64GB DDR4 3600 is just fine if you are only gaming. Maybe a few dozen games out there that see a significant benefit from DDR5, and fast DDR5 at that. You could potentially sell off the memory now for more money than you would get in a few years, but it will serve you well if you keep it. Of the games where it matters, more were high FPS, light GPU load titles that relied more on the CPU.

I agree, you can get a $200 motherboard that does the same things.

360mm AIO is just fine. Pick the one you like better. Maybe consider matching the RGB standards as much as possible in your other hardware picks.

There is negligible difference in performance between DDR4 ndDDR5 ram.
And, intel does not depend on fast ram for performance anyway.
Since you already have some nice DDR4 ram, keep it.

On newegg, a 13900K and 14900K are priced precisely the same at $550.
But, the 14900K will turbo up to 6.0 vs. 5.8 for the 13900K.

There are many Z790 DDR4 based motherboards that cost considerably less.

Lian li makes quality cases, and there are many that cost considerably less.
If this one appeals to you the most, then ok. Looks count, you will be looking at it for a long time.

I am very much against aio coolers when a simple twin tower air cooler will do the job.
If your main use will be running fully loaded batch apps that can stress all threads, then a 360 aio may be what you require.
But, if your main use is gaming, the heat load will be much less.
A simple Noctua NH-D15s should do the job.

Would the ram i have work fine with the MSI board i linked? I really like that board. i also have a 4070 TI Super Asus TUF Gaming Gfx Card

everything i read about the galahad ii trinity elite is horrible reviews about the software and says its just not good. Im torn between this and the NZXT Kraken Elite 360.
Personally I would get the arctic freezer 2. Its quiet, has a thick radiator, a long warranty, and good fans. What is your total budget for the PC? Do you want a bunch of ARGB? What are the exact parts you already have? Is the primary purpose of the PC gaming, or is there some productivity tasks that you do?
