Question I need this certain adapter but I can't find it.

I am turning this old MacBook A1181 into a custom desktop and I want to use the LCD's connector thing (what would be the 30 or 40 pin connector on a pc) as an HDMI or VGA plug. Is it possible to build that specific adapter? They make what I need but in reverse and I don't know if it will work for what I need it to do

I am not sure about your "30-40 pin connector" reference.

Are you able to provide any additional information or images of the source connector. I.e., what you physically need to plug into...

MacBook A1181

I had one of these a few years back that I attempted to convert to Windows and then Linux. It was using some really strange sound card/device that I was never able to find a driver for. It was not able to upgrade to the (then) newer OS.

I cannot recall if this model had an onboard VGA connector or such but would consider that to be the far easier path here.

The MacBook does have a mini DVI port.
