I need to control 23 fans

I need a solution to control 23 Thermaltake Riing fans. The fans are in this build: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/ThatGamerJake/saved/t7hpbv

I am limited to 3x 5.25" bays in the Core X9. Any options?

Get multiple Thermaltake controllers.

Unless I'm mistaken. You should be able to run some PWM splitters off your motherboard's fan headers. Then use these SATA powered eight way hubs for PWM fan control.

If you want to use a front bay fan speed controller. You should be able to plug the powered hubs into the 4-pin PWM ports on the controller.

There are similar generic 8 way and 10 way powered hubs available on Amazon.

8 up top
2 on the rear
6 on the bottom

Just because you may be able to physically mount that many fans, why would you want to do that? That is excessive overkill, by any measure. It is also likely to be quite loud, even if you slow the rotational speed down.

How many? Well...23 is Too Many.

I'd be surprised if you saw any difference if you go over 5 good fans.

Just because you *CAN* mount that many fans in a case like that doesn't necessarily mean you should. After a certain number of fans, everything after that means you could start recirculating air. I would mainly have the exhaust fan, the intake fans, and maybe 3 *MAX* top fans. Anything more than that is excessive overkill.
