I'm not very good with PCs and my one stopped working a few months ago. I had an IT guy come over and said I needed a new motherboard and maybe a new CPU. I have bought 2 motherboards the first one didn't fit and the second one amsot connected apart from the front panel connection.
I have a acer predator G5900 and a couple years ago replaced the graphics card with a GTX 970. And that's all the changes I have made to it. So I basically want a motherboard that has the same connections as the H57 AM2 V:3 but one that is more up to date and/or better. Also if anyone could recommend a good PSU for it (price isn't too much of a concern mainly if it is available on amazon)
I will try and give any more n formation if that is needed.
Thank you all.

Edit:
H57H AM2 V3

These are some of the product codes on the motherboard if that helps.

Thank you for finding a link Calvin7 to a picture so people know what I am talking about.

The front panel diagram on the Asus board can be found in the Asus motherboard manual.

Acer and other OEM companies often use there own proprietary front panel connector designs that differ from retail boxed motherboards. You won't have that problem if you use a store bought bare PC case.

Acer PREDATOR G5900 User Manual: Front Panel Header is found on page 73 Chapter 5.

It looks like pins 6 and 8 are for Power Switch and ground.

I tried searching for the Parts number given but they are sold out. This motherboard seems to be out dated. I bought a new one but the pins do not match up for the front panel.
The one I bought was an Asus and am3+ 760g 4ddr3.
The pins on that though have 20 and the connection I have for the front panel is 12 it looks like this

Is there any way I can get an adaptor for this as everything else fits.
