I need to make my HP G6 into a graphics machine

I just got photoshop program and ever since my computer runs so SSLLOOWW on my HP Pavilion g6 2244nr Notebook, I find it very hard to use the program after about a half hour of working on it as all starts to drag that's everything Internet, photoshop etc. What can I do for this particular notebook, I do run win 8.1 also and have all hard as original, no upgrades to date.

You can't do much to notebooks. Check inside and see if the cpu is soldered in. Probably is and so you're snookered.

Sell it and buy a nice MSI i7 and gtx850m

After looking at the HP website you have 2 options.
It appears you are running out of physical memory, which causes windows to use the hard drive as virtual memory.

Upgrade the memory to 8 gig. You have two memory slots available.
Upgrade to a SSD, the 5400rpm hard drive is fairly slow.

Neither will help with photoshop. Maybe the ram a bit. But not much. Its mainly a good cpu you need.
