I have been researching many hours and I have come up with this build:

NZXT S340 Compact ATX Mid-Tower Case with All-Steel Panels - Matte White + Purple

ASUS ROG STRIX Z270F GAMING LGA1151 DDR4 DP HDMI DVI M.2 ATX Motherboard with USB 3.1

Kingston Technology HyperX FURY 2666MHz DDR4 Non-ECC CL15 DIMM 16 DDR4 2400 MT/s (PC4-19200) HX426C15FBK2/16

Kingston Digital HyperX FURY 120GB SSD SATA 3 2.5 Solid State Drive with Adapter (SHFS37A/120G)

MSI Computer Video Card (GTX 1050 TI 4GT OC)

EVGA SuperNOVA 650 G1, 80+ GOLD 650W, Fully Modular, 10 Year Warranty, Includes FREE Power On Self Tester Power Supply 120-G1-0650-XR

WD Blue 1TB SATA 6 Gb/s 7200 RPM 64MB Cache 3.5 Inch Desktop Hard Drive (WD10EZEX)

Intel BX80677I57600K 7th Gen Core Desktop Processors & Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO - CPU Cooler Bundle

This would be my first build, and I need to know whether or not this would be a pretty good gaming PC. Should I make some upgrades or downgrades? I also would like to stay just below 1000 dollars. Please and thank you.

Note:
SSD is optional. It will improve your PC's boot time by a considerable marging, load your game in a slightly faster speed, but no noticeable performance difference during actual gaming compared to an HDD. Add the SSD as you please.

Some parts that were picked were based on your initial case selection (the NZXT S340 White ATX case). If you are open to change such case, the total cost of the case plus the other parts can be lowered even more.
