I bought a HP v155W 8GB pen drive recently and copied some pictures from my HP Compaq 6510b laptop on to it. However, when I tried to open up the pictures on other computer, the pictures do not open. I have lost a lot of pictures because of this. Also, it doesnt allow me to delete files from the pendrive or format it. Please advise.

are you opening the content of the flash drive through a third party content manager? Sometimes those things are buggy and difficult to figure out. When I manage my flash/pen drives I do so by opening that particular drive from "My Computer" and treating it like any other folder.

I copied a folder having .jpg files from my HP Compaq 6510b into the HP v155W flash drive.

When I tried to check those same files on my other computer ACER Aspire 4736Z, I get the I/O Error 0x8007045D. I am neither able to read those files nor delete them from the Flash Drive.

I have Vista on both machines.

Please advise.

I also had the same problem and it is solved using the Ufix - 1 tool from PNY. Now my hp v155w device is back to usable state.

(http://www.pny.com.tw/index.php?mode=product_detail&PID=49 Click on the last tab and download Ufix 1)
