I/O Panel USB 3.1 Port Stopped Working

Motherboard: Asus Prime Z370-A
OS: Windows 10

I've been using the USB 3.1 2nd gen port on my motherboard for my ethernet cable. It's been working great up until today. I came home and noticed my computer was not connected to the ethernet. As it turned out, the USB port had stopped working, as I tried plugging multiple devices into it with no effect, updated windows, and searched for driver errors. The port physically seems fine. Should I take advantage of my Squaretrade plan and send it back?

Are you using an adapter to get Ethernet on your USB3.1 Gen 2? Are you on the latest BIOS update for your motherboard? Is the device shown in Device Manager without any yellow exclamation flagged as an error?

Yes, yes, I'm not sure, and do you mean the Motherboard or the USB port? And I'm not sure where to find it.
