My C drive has 461 GB of files
(Note: music files are not on OneDrive, but I should change that)

why aren't the files up there?

c drive

My files on Onedrive total 118 GB (There are no video or document files on there)

461 GB minus 118 GB = 343 GB of files not accounted for

Protip...it is better to post a screencap, rather than a direct link to your OneDrive.

- Sorry, I get . . .

"image cannot be loaded from a passed link"

461GB used on your C drive is NOT what ends up in your OneDrive.
That only syncs your personal files, email attachments, and things like that.
NOT, the entirety of your drive.

Also...your C drive is far too full.
You need more free space. 14GB is not enough.

Okay, I understand.

Let me manually add up the files, system files Etc or Not Included.

I know my hard drive is too full but I have 2 x external hard drives (2 TB each BUT there's an error with one drive and it doesn't get recognized by the computer)

So technically I have one 2 TB external hard drive, but it's full, I just remembered

I now have a DVD writer and I could burn files onto blank DVDs

Thank you

here's a question, do I want system files on OneDrive?

I guess if I think of the term 'backed up', it would only be backed up if system files were included.

this was my first question . . .

I was thinking the best way would be to get the size of the OneDrive folder in File Explorer. It is 344 GB. But that includes system files right?

I'm not sure how to manually get the size of the non system files, AKA documents, videos. music. Etc

You do that manually.
Look inside each folder of your stuff.
That is all what the OneDrive function copies upstream.
About 5 months ago, I had 1.3 terabytes of files disappear. I know that sounds crazy but that's what happened. No one I have talked to, knows what happened.

I have 39,000 empty folders where files used to be.

But as a result my folders are messed up, but most files were backed up
