I ordered a 1060... don't know if 500W is enough

Hello. i bought an ASUS 1060 3gb today. I currently have an i5 4590 cpu as well with hyper 212 evo. Is my 500 W enough?

The total system power consumption with i5 + GTX 1060 is 200-250 watt under load depending on the exact CPU model, MB , RAM, number and type of storage, fans and whatever else you have in the system.
A 300w of EXCELLENT PSU would be sufficient.

Whats the make and model of the PSU? A good 500w unit would be plenty, while a low quality one could leave you with a smoldering bricked system.

It should unless the PSU is really really really bad..
I am running i7 and GTX 1080 Strix and 3x ssd using a 500W psu

I have a ryzen 1700 and 16gb of ram and gtx 1060 and I have a 430 watt power supply it will work.
