So i went to my bios and proceeded to overclock my ram. The reason being i read that Ryzen even 2nd gen like faster clock speeds alot ever more than a core clock itself but when i go into CPU z it is showing a slower clock speed than the ram is even rated to be. I wen through my bios but can find anything that may be under clocking my ram.

What are your other system specs?

Your RAM is shown as being 1333MHz which means it’s running at 2666MHz (DDR = Double Data Rate = 1333x2).

Your motherboard would need to allow for overclocking RAM speeds and there should be an option for it in the BIOS of a compatible board.

You missed one screenshot :) the SPD tab will tell you the preset standard speeds the RAM has inbuilt.

By Default if you don't change it DDR4 will clock at 2133 regardless of what it's rated at. To go faster you either enable the XMP profile in the BIOS which will use the SPD table to set the fastest rated settings or you manually overclock it like you are doing.
