[SOLVED] I own a i9 9900K and changed my motherboard and GHz went down.

I own a i9 9900K and changed my motherboard from ROG Strix b365-F gaming to ROG Z390-F Gaming and GHz went down from 4.6 to 3.7 after changing the motherboard. When I had the ROG Strix b365-F I didn't overclock but in the tas manager it always ran over 4.5GHz but after changing the motherboard it's always going around 3.8GHz. Is this normal?

Did you do a clean OS install when you changed motherboards? Without a fresh OS install, results are unpredictable.

Go check this Video at 6:57 he click an option Turbo mode. Go to ur bios and check if u have it enabled.If not enable it.

Well of course you must overclock again its a new motherboard. Put the settings to how you had it sorta before and what not.

I would not be surprised if the old motherboard was running the cpu with a base clock overclock out of the box...
