As the Title says I currently own a Ryzen 5 2400 g (i bought it 2 months ago) but, I have it paired with a GTX 1060 - 6 GB so i dont use the vega graphics, i found out my current motherboard which is an asrock a320m-hdv can handle the Ryzen 5 2600 too, and i dont know if the upgrade is worth or not, some people say no because the difference is like 6 fps in games, so i dont know what to do

I would agree an upgrade is not worth the cost.

You would be going from 4 cores and 8 threads to 6 cores and 12 threads. And not really gaining anything else. A small IPC improvement.

A series boards don't allow for overclocking, so if you were to get a new chip and keep that board I would lean more towards the X processors with the higher base and boost clock speeds.

Or hold out for Ryzen 3000 series to see a bigger jump in performance for your money.
