Well I am working on a pc build at the moment, and it is kind of a work in progress. Most of the PC is built, but I still have to wait until next paycheck for a new video card and to upgrade my RAM further. Below is the specs I have right now, and I'd like to know if I'll be able to run D3 based off of my current setup:

Intel i5 2500
Asrock Z68 Extreme3 Gen3 mobo
Western Digital 500gb, 7200 rpm HDD
4gb DDR3 RAM (1333 mhz)
LG DVD Drive
Visiontek Radeon HD 3650 1gb PCIe (old, i know. just a temp card though)

With this current setup, do you guys think I can run D3? I can run Starcraft 2 just fine but on medium graphics settings due to my current video card. Next paycheck, I was intending to upgrade to the EVGA Geforce gtx 550 ti 2gb, and put some Gkill Ripjaws ram in there, so it'll be a bit more powerful then, but I want to know if this should work temporarily. Thanks.

Yeah, you will be able to play Diablo 3 just fine but in low-mid settings, otherwise in high it will lag like a hell. You can buy a new GFX card at least HD 5670 or HD 5770 for this game, whichever in your budget.

Well it turns out that you guys were not correct. I purchased a copy of D3 and am unable to play it on the current video card installed. It runs SC2 on Medium settings, but the D3 game play is very choppy and it can't handle the textural detail of the ground itself (I.E. i keep getting random blue polygons on the ground that the video card cannot fill in the detail for). I'll just have to wait til next paycheck and update to the Geforce 560 2gb. That should do it :)

Blizzard posted that the older AMD cards had no support for the 12.4 drivers. If you rollback to the older ones they recommend you should be fine.
