now to start i must say i have big knowledge in pc and i am about to fix my past....
now when i was a 12 (in 2010) i had a pc it featured a core 2 quad q6600 oc to 3.0ghz and for gpu i had the HD 5970 a (hell of gpu back in 2010)and it still reliable these days and 4gb ddr3 ram and 450w psu but the only problem is i sold in 2012 for 150 usd first of i didnt know why i sold my pc i was using it but i sold it and for that price but the good thing i sold it for my cousin . so i sold the pc and bought a laptop my god!! i was stupid and i didnt know any thing about pc back there and the laptop is low end (intel hd graphics and an old 4 core 2.16ghz cpu) so now i will trade with my cousin pc for the laptop (he dont use it and he only want to browse the internet) so that is fair

but the thing is he sold the gpu for 150 usd back in 2013 and the 4gb ram too so should i get back the pc and buy a gpu and ddr3 ram and use it until i build my new pc next year

i know the clear answer but ill see what you guys have to say about it and i just wanted to share this experience with the community i love and trust and to say that i admit i learned a lot from this experience and all new pc guys must do a miss or 2 to learn and that in pc you can fall but you will stand again and wont fall because you learned

If it is the only option you can afford then yeah but I would get a better GPU which you can carry over to your new build and more ram (say 8GB). If you can afford to do a fresh build soon...I'd save and put that money towards a better overall PC though as I stated you could bring your GPU to the new one, even if your current CPU bottlenecks it, your future one won't.
