So i somehow messed up my SSD drive when I made partitions. I somehow made a ssd of 250gb and made the rest into an hdd drive and not a SSD =/

When i check the performance tab on TM it shows one SSD and one HDD, and now I tried to bring unallocated space back into the ssd partition but ended up putting it into the hdd partition, this is my first time using an SSD, and any help to get one ssd drive again would be greatly appreciated please.

What I would do is remove power from hdd, and install windows 11 on the ssd. This will stop windows using the already existing boot partition on the hdd - it really helps if its on the ssd.

Then reattach hdd, copy anything off the old install you want to keep, and then wipe the hdd and use it as storage.

the hdd should be in a bay at front of the case, if its a traditional layout inside.

Some of my games have a minimum requirement to be run off the ssd, and with it only being 250gb that doesn't really leave much free space if any.

I plan to fully upgrade my system soon so ill probably invest in a larger ssd along with a much better system as it's starting to show inferior performance on newer games.
