i succesfully overclocked my memory but should i keep it?

I just overclocked my ram from 2400 cl15 to 2666 cl 14 without increasing the voltage (1.2)but is it safe to keep it that way? btw i did this overclock with msi memory try it

MSI memory try-it is extremely conservative, even with the primary CL timing lowered as it is. Actually, that's probably why it works at all. Stability test your ram overclock to see if it's good before using it for anything important.

An excellent tool and free. Read the manual. Another memory test is built in to Windows 10... just type 'Windows Memory Diagnostic' into search/Cortana. It will want to restart into a non-GUI session to run the tests in.

I'd suggest using at least two complete cycles of two...
That's odd, usually you have to increase timings to increase speed without increasing voltage. I would not leave it that way. You could run in to issues down the road with instability and may have to increase timings even further than stock to continue running stable.

If you want to overclock your RAM though, why not increase voltage and timings to get to 3000.
