I switched my DVR from NTSC to PAL

After changing the DVR setting to PAL I can no longer see anything on the screen.

I removed the battery and turned the DVR on then off and replaced the battery.

I held the reset button while plugged and unplugged for 30 sec

It is plugged into an older Magnavox digital TV.

Can I jump the board to reset back to factory?

I also hit the reset button on the board holding it for more than 30 sec.

I held the stop button down for 15 sec

I removed battery and left it unplugged for a couple hours.

All attempts have failed.

Is there a way to jump the board and reset to factory?

You may have to find a monitor that can support the higher scan rate of PAL. An HDTV that has composite video in might allow you to get a picture and switch back.

Did you contact the manufacturer?

No it happened late last night. I did look through the manual and found nothing. Thanks for the suggestion.
