I've been spending quite a bit of time selecting a PSU, of course like many I want to get as much bang for my buck and I had been looking at monster 1000w -1200w units. I had to stop and think what my power consumption needs really were. My plans are to get a GTX 560ti and http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130604 and add a second one at a later date. After searching the threads I came to realize that my my power needs didn't exceed a 750-850 watt power supply. On another thread "Beanoslim" posted this comparison http://www.newegg.com/Product/Productcompare.aspx?Submit=ENE&N=40000058&IsNodeId=1&Description=750w%20psu&bop=And&CompareItemList=58%7C17-207-016%5E17-207-016-TS%2C17-139-021%5E17-139-021-TS%2C17-341-041%5E17-341-041-TS%2C17-139-010%5E17-139-010-TS%2C17-151-087%5E17-151-087-TS and I've decided to go with the Sesonic X750. I just wish Compusa carried it, I'd bolt over there and get it.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817151087 It being completely modular and gold certified had everything to do with it.

I finally pulled the trigger on the Seasonic X750. I knew it was going to be the Seasonic but my frugal nature made me keep looking for a better deal. I even considered a used PSU but you can't rma used. I even looked at the Seasonic X650 but waited to long to use the pormo code. Now all my build news a GPU.
