I think my Gigabyte RX 480 Windforce 8GB model has an improper BIOS.

I received this GPU from a friend for a great price. However, I have a question and need help clearing up my confusion.

Okay so, if I go to the Gigabyte support page for my GPU, I see the latest BIOS version is FA1:
https://www.gigabyte.com/Graphics-Card/GV-RX480WF2-8GD-rev-10#support-dl

In GPU-Z, I see this information: http://gpuz.techpowerup.com/17/11/12/vsz.png
Note the "FA3" part of the Bootup message string. More importantly, the version number is listed as 015.050.000.001.000000. On the TechPowerUp website, there is no BIOS version number for this GPU with that number. Here is a screenshot of the versions available: http://prntscr.com/h9nafw

So ultimately, my question is, is the BIOS version I have even the right BIOS for this card? Did my friend flash it and not tell me? I guess he might not even know (hasn't responded to my messages today). If it isn't the right version, what should my next step be? Reflash with the correct one from the website? Thanks for any help you can provide!

Solution
Seems like a fix for the Samsung Memory:

Release for SAMSUNG Memory
ATI Source BIOS Version:015.050.000.000
BIOS frequency:ENG1120/1266MHz, MEM 2000MHz
Memory: 8000 MHz
Improve the Fan Performance
Release for FA0 BIOS ......For cards that had this memory issue and your is a later release

Right. Do you think this is something I should worry about? I know that the BIOS update they released helped with the fans on the card. But the version number on mine seems wrong.

Ah, that makes a lot of sense. Thank you very much! Picking this as the solution.
