I left my computer on overnight last night and when I woke up it was still on. I left and came back about thirty minutes later and my room had a feint smell of "electric burning" and my computer was off. Usually my gtx 1070 has a light on indicating power but nope nothing. I unplugged my 1070 and it turned on. So I figured it was a gpu problem, and just plugged in my last graphics card, gtx 770. I plug everything in and turn on my computer its all powered, up but there is no display on the screen, and it says signal could not be found. Then my computer shuts down and restarts, and continues to do this until I just give up.
What could this be and is it fixable or is it a damaged piece of hardware. Thanks for the help
UPDATE: So after powering my computer on with my 770 it restarted once after about 20 seconds of running, then stayed on. After it stayed on my computer did not boot (no logo, or bios), nothing, it just said no signal. I took my psu out and checked it with a volt meter and all the reading came up good, no problems.
Computer Specs:
EVGA Geforce 1070 (switching back to my 770 in the post)
MSI Z97 Gaming 5 motherboard
Corsair CS750M PSU
Intel I5 4690k cpu
16gb ram
1tb hdd
