Question I think my processor cooling fan is facing backwards

I think they placed my cooling fan backwards, the fan is facing towards the outside of the case.

Is this safe or useful or should i have it placed properly?

the fan is pulling air so that must mean its blowing air through the heatsink correctly

i thought that too but since the gpu was working i thought one was all i needed
should i plug in the other one too? i had my motherboard replaced along with the fan so they mustve not plugged in my gpu correctly either

can you tell if the heat sink is on properly? i matched the pic of the pc you gave me and it seems like its on right
also idk if its cause the fan is facing me or not but i am noticing some noise from the fan now.

Make sure the fan is pushing the Air through the heatsink towards the rear of your case. Looks good.👍
Another rear exhaust fan might help even more.

Regarding the fan noise, does the fan have those red rubber pads on both sides? I see them in the picture, but they should also be on the side that is touching the cooler fins. If there are none, you will probably be able to pull those out and put them on the other side. This will provide some cushioning and a bit of distance between the fan blades and the cooler fins because it’s also possible the fan blades are rubbing against the fins a bit.

yes it appears to be pushing air through the heat sink as the fan is pulling air

i couldnt find one with same color as the one i got in the market, they only had blue
i am gonna order one online for red

its getting sucked in from the fan

i bought some fans for my pc, gonna install one in back and front too
i also wanted to ask a quick question, i had to switch around the heat sink so do i need to reapply the thermal paste or is it fine since removed and attached the heatsink only about a day after getting it installed

Check the temps before re-applying.
It's still all fresh and we all know what a hassle some heatsinks are.
If the Temperature us higher than normal, re-apply. If they are normal, it means it should all be good

cpu hovers around 35-38, gpu 35

does the quality of the paste matter? i have some from intel or should i get those thermal paste tubes

ok, temp is around 35-38 for cpu
you think thats fine or should i reapply it?

also i installed the fans but dont have enough 3 pin connectors, one fan on the front is not powered
what should i do to power it up, is there some port on the power supply to attach it too?
