Hey! I recently bought a 3070 ti to replace 1660 ti but the fps stayed almost the same, I do have the latest drivers installed. I get 130 fps in Valorant at 1440p, 90-110 at COD modern warfare at medium settings and 50-65 fps in cyberpunk 2077 at medium settings.

Specs:

CPU: Intel Core i5-11400F
GPU: GIGABYTE RTX 3070 Ti Gaming OC 8G
RAM: Kingston HyperX DDR4 3600 C18 1x16GB
Motherboard: ASUS PRIME B560M-A
PSU: CV650 — 650 Watt 80 Plus
(I don't remember the rest of the specs, sorry)

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

PSU: 650w
650W is the advertised wattage of the unit. Please look at the sticker on the side of the unit to identify the make and model of the unit. Include the age of the PSU as well.

Did you use DDU prior to removing your GTX1660Ti from your platform to drop in the RTX3070Ti?

my PSU is CV650 — 650 Watt 80 Plus, and I uninstalled the previous drivers

Quiet frankly that PSU shouldn't be powering that build with an RTX3070Ti. I'd have gotten an RM850 series PSU to pair with that GPU upgrade path.

Motherboard: ASUS PRIME B560M-A
Can you check and see what your BIOS version is at this moment of time?

Gpu doesn't make fps. The cpu does. So if the cpu makes 100fps and the 1660ti was strong enough to put all 100fps on screen, you could pair that cpu with a 3090Ti and get the same results.

The gpu is all about eye-candy. A stronger gpu can use higher detail levels and not lose fps as a result. So if the cpu put out 100fps and the 1660ti was only strong enough to show 50fps at ultra, the 3060ti is strong enough at that detail level to show all 100fps.

Doesn't mean it will 'raise' fps, just means it can show more of the fps its given. If there's no change in fps, means that for whatever reason, you've reached the cap of what the cpu can process for that particular game.
