Hello.
I have a 3070 tuf and im having some problems with its temperatures.
I bought this model because its low temperatures.
But when i started playing some games i realiced at some point while gaming temperatures goes very high.
It makes the gpu swith off a couple of times.
I ran some tests and it seems that the gpu its not capable of get rid of the heat generated when a game needs power. +60% usage or so.
So i went to internet, ran some benchmarks and there must be something wrong with my gpu.
Seconds after starting the bencharms, fans goes up to 100% and temperatures goes up to 82ºC where the gpu start trotlling...
I know benchmarks are made to squeeze the gpu, but looking for results of people with the same card, temps dont get to 80, sits around mid or low 70s with fans at 80%.

These are my results

What do you thing?
Thanks.

It was used
could even be why it was sold.
and the TUF line isn't even really known to be super cool compared to other options.

my TUF RX 6700XT idled ~40°C and reached ~70°C in games even with a very good cooling setup(you can see the configuration in my signature).

my TUF RTX 3080 Ti was around the same
until i installed another intake below it to offer some more cool air intake specifically for the card.
now the 3080 Ti idles in the mid 30s and maxes in the low 60s, like most of my previous cards did.

and this is with a pretty aggressive GPU fan profile on both cards.

Even if its used there must be a reason why the gpu has such high temperatures right?

there can be many reasons;

improper cool air intake & exhaust for the entire system,
abnormally warm environment,
malfunctioned fan controller,
bad fans(which would usually also include louder than normal operation),
diode/capacitor malfunction,
bad thermal paste,
overused in mining, etc...
