🙁 😱 I bought this gpu 3 days ago :/ fateful mistake :/ ehhh. so there is no easier way to fix it?
Oh. Realistically, I don't know any way of fixing it as anything could be wrong with it. Best guess would be you caused a short that's either damaged some of the small electronic components, or you sent a power surge into one of the chips and damaged it.....either way, there are no easy fixes.
So if chip is damaged, there is possible to replace a new chip...? (last quastion, thank you.)
It's possible, but here's the issue. First you need to find out which chip (if any) is damaged, and that's not easy unless you have all the right equipment. Then you have to source a new chip....if it's the main gpu, you would need to find a used one from somewhere, other chips might still be standard. Finally, you need to be able to de-solder the old chip and carefully solder the new one in.....like I said earlier, unless you have a mate who can do that, it's not worth trying to fix.
