I tried resetting toshiba satelliteL50 but it has taken everything off laptop when I turn it on it says no bootable device

And just ask to restart system but there is nothing on laptop at all apart from toshiba when I turn on

Check that is seeing the HDD / cdrom in the bios.

If it is, then good chance you have zapped the boot sector of the hdd.
