Did you create a Microsoft account? If so activating should be easy as it contains your digital licence. Just tell the activation troubleshooter the new device is the one you're using. Install Win10 without key then sign in to your ms account.

If you are referring to the Product Key, you shouldn't need it.

If you need to install Windows, you can do that with the standard USB flash drive method using Microsoft's Media Creation Tool.

i logged in and put in my key and then it wouldn't activate that it couldn't connect to my organization but it was never on an organisation

Sounds like another example of someone purchasing a pirated Enterprise version that has now timed out after 6 months and can not reach a domain controller.

What version of Win 10, and from where did you purchase it?

If you bought a cheaper OEM version, it is good only for the original motherboard.

You can still run without activation. You will lose appearance customization and a faint reminder message will appear on the lower right of your display.
