Recently, I changed my laptop's heatsink's fan, The bottom of the fan was taped to the heatsink as you can see here: https://ibb.co/925RBtT

so I took off the tape from the fan(not from the heatsink), installed a new fan and then I used a glue stick to stick back the tape on the new fan...

Is glue stick a good choice ? should I take the heatsink out again and apply a different type of glue ? It looked very firm after I applies the glue stick and stuck it back in place, I am wondering if excess heat could cause the glue to dry up and the tape could come off...

Depends entirely on the properties of the glue. Can't say I know much about some random glue sticks ability to handle heat.

Some new type of tape might be better, but again, not really sure what you should use. Is the tape conductive, or just a simple tape used to fill the gaps between the fan and heatsink?

Plenty of options out there, all would be quite expensive for such a small job.

I say just check on it in a few weeks and see how it held up.
