This is the type of card I got

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Combo-PCI-Express-2-SATA-1-IDE-Ports-PCI-e-Controller-Card-Marvell-Chipset-/192294326310

I connected my optical drive to it
And when I on the pc I get a new bios window saying that my card has the optical drive attached to it

But when windows loads the device manager shows this card and no yellow triangles
But I cannot see the optical drive in windows

I have asus z97k motherboard
16gb gskill ram
M.2 card ssd ( which disable 2 of my sata ports. Which is why I'm using this expansion card)
4 sata hdd
Gtx 750 graphics card

So what do you think is happening?

Ya of course I did plug the power to the optical drive otherwise at the bios I wouldn't see that the card has the optical drive
It's the smallest pci slot I think 1x

the optical drive should show up in device manager too. under view tab, check the "show hidden device"
