I got this PC about 4 years ago, but that isn't that old. I used to get 300+ frames on CSGO , but now I'm going down to 140. People have there PC's for more than 5 years and can still run CSGO perfectly. So I'd really want to know if my PC is overheating or if my GPU or CPU is getting bottlenecked. I've been running MSI afterburner for about 2 months on the two main games I play, which is Apex Legends and CSGO and I've noticed that my CPU is around 90%, while my GPU is at 80% on Apex Legends. Then on CSGO my CPU is close to 100%, while my GPU won't go past 50% no matter the settings, or resolution. I tried everything in the nvidia control panel. I'm not turning on vsync because that adds a lot of input lag. I'm a competitive player, so anything that'll give me a disadvantage I won't bother turning on, or off. In apex legends I can go down to 70 fps in gunfights. My friend basically has the same rig. He has a i7 6700k, gtx 1070 (idk how much RAM) and he gets a consistent 144+ frames. Please if anybody else had this problem can you PLEASE HELP ME?!!!
