GeForce GV-N710D3-2GL 2GB PCI-Express Graphics card can Compatibel with Gigabyte H61M-S1 & Intel Pentium 2 core G2010 2.80Ghz?

Solution
While Yes, that graphics card is compatible, i would seriously suggest upgrading that to a 1050 instead, as it`s better for future-proofing, and then you wont`t have to think about your graphics card if upgrading CPu and MOBO in the near future. Even though you may see some bottlenecks from the CPu when playing, the 1050 is still better than the GT 710.

But they might not even intend to game, or maybe it's outside their budget.

First of all, even if they don`t intend to game, the 1050 will still be better than the GT 710, secondly, i said recommended the 1050, if it`s outside their budget, fine, i`m just saying if they have the money, they should really consider using some extra for a much better card!

then why specifically a 2gb card if not for gaming?

>.> would not make sense for someone that only wanted to surf the internet, especially for such a weak card like a 710 that isnt even strong enough for the extra vram to matter

Because most cards nowdays aren't going to come with 512 mb like they used to ...

there are plenty of 1gb cards though, so? Why specifically a 2gb card?

Because why not 😛
