Hmm, Might consider it, I don't really participate in bids since at the end someone will always pay the higher price :/
The i7 on ebay and amazon are pretty expensive, like the i7 2600 for "Buy now" options it's over £100 and I don't have that type of budget right now, and I'm not into the bid game since someone will always pay the higher price.What matters more is what particular model your motherboard is. Going from an i5, to another i5, won't do much for you. For any real benefit, an i7, or an i7 equivalent Xeon E3, like the 1230v2, would, as you would get better multitasking capability, due to hyperthreading.
