[SOLVED] I want cpu suggestions that are not too expensive for lga1155 socket

First of all, I slightly do know that lga1155 is a pretty old socket.

BUT

I want a change from my i5 2400 so I would like suggestions that are not too expensive since I'm kinda on a budget and the i5 2400 is getting pretty slow in the current days.

What matters more is what particular model your motherboard is. Going from an i5, to another i5, won't do much for you. For any real benefit, an i7, or an i7 equivalent Xeon E3, like the 1230v2, would, as you would get better multitasking capability, due to hyperthreading.

The i7 on ebay and amazon are pretty expensive, like the i7 2600 for "Buy now" options it's over £100 and I don't have that type of budget right now, and I'm not into the bid game since someone will always pay the higher price.

I7-3770/3770k is good. I was running one until I found a Xeon for super cheap.
