Reasons for changes -
1) Much better CPU for only 10 more dollars
2) You don't need to buy to separate sticks of ram, they come in 2x4gb which is cheaper than buying each stick separately.
3) You'll only need 500w really, so I added a cheaper (but highly rated) 550w psu.
4) With the left over money I put in a batter graphics card.

If you go for a AMD build, the fx 6300 is much better than the fx 4300 for only a few $$ more.
However I would change the mobo to a Gigabyte GA-UD3P since the MSI G43 is known for having heat issues while the UD3P is one of the best options in that price range. Also would grab a 1 tb HDD for the same price and if you wanted to overclock you would need a CPU cooler eventually
I agree with numanator......i3 is better for a new gamer....fx 6300 can be oced but you need more money for coolers and mbs...i3 will qualify for this job...
