Hello,

I have looked 'everywhere' on the internet for a USB switch so that I can turn on one USB microphone at a time. They happen to be Blue Yeti microphones.

My situation is that I am streaming a meeting between a board sitting at a table with a microphone and an audience where a second microphone is situated. Audience members will walk up to the second mic to make comments. I want to have only one mic on at a time.

Thanks in advance any help!

Larry

Solution
You can choose which mic will be active in whatever software you're using.,.. albeit, it's cumbersome.

Best approach is a USB audio interface with multiple inputs (or a mixer with at least two mic inputs, for your use case, that sends the mix to your computer via USB) that can use conventional analog wired or wireless mics via XLR. You can then have physical independent control of both microphone volumes and which channel to mute.
