Question I want to download ixtu

I want to download intel extreme tuning utility for my first gen mobile i3 380m and when I try to download it , it can’t download because I have a first gen processor . I see YouTube vids on downloading it on 1st gen intel, is there any trick to do it ?

they probably have a better motherboard and it's probably not a mobile chip.
Even if you could overclock (and i am sure you can't) you wouldn't see any performance increase
the only thing you can do is get an SSD to make it feel faster

And in any case, overclocking on a general purpose laptop is a bad idea --- they can't cope with the extra heat that overclocking generates --- this would cause the OS to become unstable, frequent shutdowns and premature component failure.
