Question i want to get my ryzen 7 1700x a new cooler

Ok so I have a 212 hyper evo and on idle im getting 30-40 celcius on idle and 70 after 2 cinebench stress test i wanted to overclock this to the max potential of 3.8ghz maybe even 4ghz anybody know a good cooler with easy installation?

also i only increased the frequency by .15 ghz

Well I suggest that since that cpu is for over clocking and you’ve technically already done some of that i would suggest an AIO. I’m running a Ryzen 1700x as well and it’s running 20c and below at idle. When in use and gaming I’m not sure. Probably very cool though. Most AIOs also have preapplied thermal paste so that’s a plus. Usually you can get a good AIO for around 50 - 100 USD. For Ryzen 7 I would suggest a Kraken M22 which only has 120mm rad so it won’t take up much space in your build. I’m running an EVGA CLC 280. I already over clocked to 4.0ghz and run idle still a little above 20c. Just OC with caution and make sure you have a good psu.
