My mailboxes have been receiving scam mails. The senders make believe they are from Costco, Best Buy, Home Depot..., but actually they are not. They just wanted to get my personal information and credit card number. Today, I received an email that claimed to be from T-Mobile. It's probably a scam. The email comes with a link. This offer looks like a scam,

It all depends on what you call inexpensive, this is less than other wireless providers. It is also less than many physical ISP plans.

The fine print on the cheapest plan exposes the problem. They favor other people traffic during busy times so you will not get those high transfer speeds during those times. I suspect it is still fine for most uses
It does not look like a T-Mobile retailer website.
This webpage seems to be blocked.
it might not be scam. but it still ask for your info on a 3rd party site.

I cannot visit it now.
I know it is not proper to post suspected links to the forum but if I do not post, you do not know what I am talking about. Therefore, I emphasized it is probably a scam and urge not to disclose personal information.

Are you bragging you know how to detect scams or something? I don't know what this thread is trying to accomplish or why a dedicated one is even needed.

Emails like these come in every day to hundreds of thousands of people and have been for years.

Thanks for reminding everyone that spam and scams exist I guess.

I changed my mind very fast that made you misunderstood me. When I received the email, the first thing came to my mind is to sign up because it is bang for the buck, I can't find any cheaper plan than that but I was afraid it is a scam. Therefore, I posted my question with the link, so that I can hear others' opinions. In the meantime, I doubt it after thinking twice because it is too good to be true. Now, the link is inaccessible. That mean, this offer is 99% a scam.

How much less was it than the link I posted that is from the official web site $40 a month is still what I consider cheap for home internet of any kind. There are of course limitation but it does not have the one you used to of a data cap.

it more like a amazon referral link. they are getting a cut and you getting a discount. but the different is that they ask for personal info
The link works again. $35 a month with 5 years price guarantee. Not from Amazon, (I think) it is from Collin Mobile.
