Hi folks ,hope you can help me ...i want to shorten my vga cables for better cable management .The supplied ones are braided and quite thick (EVGA supernova G1750w ) and therefore a bit inflexible .Is the a way i can
a) find a way to make them more flexi (hanging them to straighten)
or b)cut them back and put new pins on the end which goes into the socket/plug thing.pls help am finding this really annoying as this is a new build and I'd like it to look as best I can :)

Presuming you are discussing analogue VGA and not HDMI / DVI etc...

Buy shorter cables - they are available in loads of different sizes.

If you cut n' shut them they may work, but they are so thick partly due to the shielding that they need to transmit the signal clearly. Mess with the cable twists / sheilding / end plugs and you are almost sure to introduce interference on the picture.

wasn't really goona do a join in the middle like i've heard some folks do ,was more thinking of cutting back cable length then putting new pin things on the end but i wouldnt know where to get the right bits.... thought of buying shorter cable but the ones for my model of psu are expensive ... :|
