I have an Asus H97M-E motherboard and want to switch from a Geforce GTX 750 graphics card to a Radeon RX 570 graphics card. Is my motherboard and the graphics card I want to buy compatible? because I do not know

Absolutely! Switch away.
Personally, I always like to run DDU from safe mode to clean out the old driver files before installing the new card and its driver when switching from one platform (Nvidia) to another (AMD).
