Question I want to upgrade Graphics card and confused on DDR 2 and DDR 5 Cards

Which GPU do you want to upgrade to ?? Are you asking about system memory RAM, or the video card's VRAM ? Both of these are different, and DDR2 DDR4, GDDR5 are just different types of Memory.

Hi,
Thanks for responding. I want to upgrade my Graphics card. Currently I have the AMD HD 5550, which has been great. By the way, I was here in 2009 and did a complete rebuild myself, Everything was done in 2008 and 2009. Ram now is 11 years old, Graphics card 10 years old, MOBO is now 7 years old and my Quad 9550 is also 10 years old. My old CRT Monitor from Dell bit the dust 3 years ago and now using a ACER LED monitor. Lately the puter here has been acting up on the Minidmp which I believe is the Ram Hyper X DDR2 is getting ready to go. So......
I have a list here that I got long time ago, but don't know how to show it here on this thread, so if you can help me on this graphics card much appreciated. My problem is I do not know what my motherboard will accept as far as the Graphics cards go. The Ram I know has to be DDR 2. but no info on the Graphics slot. To upgrade on the graphics

A GTX 750TI may work . DDR2 is your board memory, DDR5 is Video card ram. You might be able to find a used GTX 750 TI on eBay. I recently bought two XFX brand RX460 cards on eBay ($60 each) for my 775 socket boards, I know the XFX RX460 works, but other brands need a UEFI bios to work.
