What is your motherboard model number?

Likely, you want to find a used (Because it's unlikely you'll find a new one that isn't three times the normal price, AND most CPUs don't fail unless somebody has done something to cause them to fail or been killed by other hardware) 4th gen i7 like the i7-4770, i7-4770k, i7-4790 or i7-4790k.

If you have an aftermarket board then any of those should work. If you have a motherboard that came in a prebuilt system, then they MIGHT work, but a lot of those OEM motherboards that came with an i5, or an early i5, might not have ever received a BIOS update to make them compatible with higher end or newer but still Haswell models, or have come with motherboards that did not have sufficient power delivery designs to handle the bigger chips.

i did keep in mind i should buy a pre owend one
thanks for the quick reply :)

If you have at least BIOS version 2003, then any of those CPUs are supported. The earlier Haswell i7's are likely supported since release, being the i7-4770 and 4770k, but I'd really look more fervently for a 4790 or 4790k. Those are the two most common top tiered CPUs for that platform and are the best you can do without upgrading to a newer platform.

If you have an older BIOS version, then just update the BIOS and you'll be free to use any of those models.
