I want to upgrade my PC this Christmas - any recommendations?

Need a new cooler to replace the stock fx 8350, was thinking of the hyper 212 evo.

Currently have a gtx 960 strix 2gb VRAM, what would you recommend i upgrade to?

Finally, is there any upgrade I could get that will have a noticeable impact to replace the amd fx 8350?

I don't really think there are any other processors for an am3 + socket that it would be worth upgrading too. According to Toms gaming CPU tier list the 8350 is in the top tier so any upgrade is going to be relatively unoticeable. I have an fx6300 with the hyper 212 evo (not overclocked yet) and my temps are very low, it's very quiet even whilst gaming for decent periods of time so I would personally recommend that cooler. Although if you are looking to do a heavy overclock you may want to look into water cooling.

As for the GPU I would look for a 4GB one. It will make a big difference compared to the current 2GB depending on how much you want to spend really depends on what to go for. Have a look at this and see what's in your budget. I highly reccomend 4GB though.
