Question I want to upgrade my ram on a laptop and I need help

The model: hp pavilion 14-ce3064st
I heard that the model has a free ram slot including the 8gb single channel ram that's already in it my questions are:

Can I use a different brand to place in the other slot? (Does it need to have the same exact specs)

Can I use ram that has 16gb in the other slot while the other is 8?


Thank you in advanced I'll probably bring it to a repair shop to place the ram in (unless it's really easy to do with a video).

you can get a 16GB module, but I think there is only 1 memory slot. you should probably get the repair shop to install the new RAM stick.

Oh there's only one slot? Someone replied to my other thread there was two with one free and I don't know what to get because I'm not quite sure how much memory slots it has

OK, you only have one RAM slot as you can see in the scan you forwarded.

Get the largest size you can afford, with a speed of 3200.
