Hello everyone,

I'm a student actually planning to build my own style of pc for gaming however, I still want to use some of my processor's parts if possible, in order to reduce my expenses. I want to ask you guys if you could give me some of your suggestions and advise on the things I need to make my pc more applicable to gaming.

Here are the current specs of my pc:

CPU- Intel Pentium G3220 3.00ghz Haswell 22nm Technology
RAM- 4.00GB Dual Channel DDR3 666MHz
Motherboard- MSI H81M-EE3 (MSI-7817)
Graphics- M237WAP (1920X1080@60Hz)
Storage- 465GB Samsung HD5021J (SATA)

Another thing, of all the things I've listed here is it possible if I don't change my Intel Pentium G3220 of all the things . Cause I think replacing it with a new one would really be a pain as buying new microprocessor can be really expensive.

Solution
If by "gaming" you mean Solitaire, than don't change anything. Anything above that would require whole new machine. No use keeping that processor either, it together with no graphic card are weakest links.
At most, a new, better processor could be installed, some from this list: https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/support/H81M-P33#support-cpu and a GPU to go with it, depending which CPU you choose. Another 4GB of ram to minimum 8GB also.
With all of that, you may bring it to gaming standards from 4 - 5 years ago.
