[SOLVED] i want to upgrade to a 1080TI nvidia.

PSU: cougar 400 WATT
motherboard: GIGABYTE B85M
CPU: intel I7-4790 3.60GHz 3.60GHZ
SSD: samsung EVO 850 240GB
hardrive: SEAGATE 1TB 7200
RAM: KINGSTON 16GB 1600 DDR3
GPU:asus geforce 960
i have 1 bottom fan (PSU) 1 CPU fan, and 1 back fan to the right top of the motherboard
can my current setup handle a 1080ti? if no what do i need to upgrade? and is my setup good? bought it for 1400USD 3.5 years ago

That psu has to go. Would recommend seasonic focus plus gold, evga g2/3, corsair rmx/txm at 650w or 750w.

It will work and the higher the resolution and refresh the better. It will be wasted on 1080p/60. However, your framerate will be limited to a degree by your locked cpu.

Can do 1440p/144hz or 4k/60hz (with some settings turned down.

my screen is a samsung s23c650 will a 1080ti be wasted if i use that monitor? ty! :)

Oke, i am trying to sell my PS3 and WII, so i hope ill have money to buy all the things, so, i want to buy a new display (2560X1440, 144HZ) (ill try and buy a 1080TI, and a powersupply,) are all of my other components good?
