i want to use my router without internet. I just want to use it connect wifi devices such as sonos.

I am connecting my stereo receiver to Sonos Connect and then controlling it through the sonos app on my iPad. I want my iPad or iPnoe to talk to my Sonos connect through my router. I do not want to connect internet to the router.

So I dont understand what you want to know this will work fine just don't plug in or configure iternet... Make sure DHCP is on and everything else will work itself out. On the other hand this will be quite annoying I would suspect as your ipad and iphone will not have internet...
