Hey as the title says I wet my components with water. What should I do?

Let it dry for at least 24 hours.Dont use hairdryer.Theres a 50/50% chance to work.Depends on the amount of water.Also dissemble your pc.

Are we talking a couple of drops of water or soaking it with water dripping into other parts?

I don't know my friend made this mistake so i was searching for help. He said me that he mostly wetted the GPU. The water came from the top of the case.

Turn it off and pull all of your components out. Let them dry for 24-48hours. Placing a fan on them or placing the components over a (not too hot) vent in your house can help to dry them. If the pc was off when it happened the damage may have been minimised. Inspect the components for damage before putting them back in and trying to start the pc.
