[SOLVED] I3 12100 Or i5 12400 ?

Hi i have 2 options and I don't know what's the better suitable combo and the best performance one of these two

Do I go i3 12100 + gtx 750ti 2gb
OR
I5 12400 gtx 650 1gb

If I took the 12400 no budget will remain to gpu

What's the better option?

Games are more often GPU-limited instead of CPU-limited. So if you got the chance between two combos that aren't too far apart in performance (eg. a 10400 vs a 3570k), go with the one with the better GPU.

GTX 750ti 2gb
Snowman CPU cooler
Total : 523$

You will. Be wondering this is so expensive .
Yes because I don't have any way to buy from my country and this is from online buy the cheapest I can get

The 12100 has a Passmark benchmark score more than double that of the 4790.

7235 versus 14503.

Single thread 2234 versus 3549.

It's no contest.....leaving aside the fact that the 4790 is 8 year old technology and the motherboard uses antique DDR 3 RAM,

The 110 left won't get me anything . Maybe only a 1tb ssd or a gtx 960 2gb instead of a 750ti 2gb

I was thinking more along the lines of wine, women, and song; but yeah if you are going to spend the 110 only on a PC, then go for it.

I would go with the 12100. It is better overall with more compatible peripheral options, newer technology, faster speeds and you have a clear upgrade path for a lasting foundation. 4790 is a dead platform.

Even the GTX750 is now quite out of date....; IMO, one still needs at least a GTX1050/1050 Ti to play most games out in the last 5-7 years...

At 159 and shipping to me is 150$ including customs and taxes xd
